We started Crafty Brains with a clear mission: to make gifting easy and creating an impact on friends, family, clients, co-workers, and even the ones you have not met.
For us, it’s not enough to simply put pretty things inside a box. We value flawless execution and sound logistics as much as we do appearance. From start to finish, our clients are entirely stress-free knowing their gifting is not merely beautiful, but also safely off of their shoulders and onto ours.
As a boutique gifting studio, we offer high-end products customized to our clients' needs. Besides our custom and curated Gift Boxes, we also have the Marketplace, where you can add your fabs and we will create a special box for you.
Our Story
We started designing many years ago, in separate countries. Sandy started in Miami and Michelle was settle in Colombia. We meet by a friend that we had in common and we keep in touch through the years.

In October 2018 we open Crafty Brains as a company that sells meaningful gifts, personalized items, favors and more. We felt the need for highly curated gifting for personal, corporate events, weddings and more.

Our Team
Sandy Glass
" I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the U.S. in 1995 to pursue my studies in Art and Fashion Design.
​
I’m a wife and mom to two human kids, and one furry (doggie).
I’m an artist, a professional DIY’er, and an introvert who needs coffee first thing in the morning! I’m an animal advocate, love bright colors and printed fabrics, plants, and fresh flowers. I collect antique & modern tableware, and one of my favorite things table setting.

In 2011 I founded Crafty Brains to showcase my creative adventures. Then, one day, while having dinner at a friend’s house and chatting with Michelle, we both agreed that a lot of businesses had these amazing brands, but their options for gifts were either a generic cellophane-wrapped basket or the same old branded swag. As long time admirers of products with great packaging, and as wannabe entrepreneurs with a creative streak, we knew that there was room to create a gift that was beautiful, fun, cohesive, and unique. So, we joined forces and here we are today, creating special gifts for special people!! "
Michelle Klahr
" I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia.

I’m a mom of a teenage boy, a wife and teacher.
​
I love to dance Reggaeton, take spiritual courses and volunteering for community events.
​
I must mention that I am a shopping addict who specializes in crafts, small cute things and gadgets. I moved to Miami in 2013 and taught preschool, while also designing card stock, creating party favors, gifts and personalized paraphernalia for friends and family. Five years later I decided to turn my passion into a business, and I expanded my field to designing T shirts and party arrangements.

Fate brought Sandy back into my life when our kids began attending the same grade in the same school. We worked together planning a Bridal Shower, and it was such a hit that we decided to start a business together. We had our first party that same week! That success made us realize that our true calling was to create a unique and personalized gifting solution for special occasions in our community."
