Whether you celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, or Kwanzaa, these are all festivities that are often related to the act of โgiving giftsโ, but for us, theyโre much more than that, they celebrate traditions and family togetherness.
โ
Pictured here are three menorahs.
The one on the back was homemade by me (Sandy) with galvanized pipes, the one on the right (silver) belonged to my grandparents, and the colorful one in the front is a new one by Apeloig Collection (available HERE)
โ
All three are special in their own way, but for me, the one gifted to me by my grandparents has a sacred place in my heart.
โ
Since their passing, we light it up every year and it brings back beautiful and joyful memories, and in my head, theyโre dancing in heaven because weโre using and enjoying what they gave us.
โ
I probably have hundreds of things that belonged to my grandparents, like plates, silverware, tablecloths, drinking glasses, my grandmaโs dresses, you name it!

Here you can see a few pictures of my beloved grandparents, Buba and Zeide, who lived to be 96 and 102 years young.
